The comfort of a high-altitude apartment
Situated at an altitude of 1,700 meters, the Casa Vacanza ai Barchi features two studios, each of which can comfortably accommodate up to two people. Equipped with every amenity, these apartments allow you to experience a privileged connection with the wild nature of Valmalenco, appreciating its most unique nuances.
At the end of the day, when people leave, you will have the opportunity to discover a world of new sensations: the pace slows down, noise fades away, and time seems to be suspended. With twilight approaching, the warm colors of the sunset envelop everything in a veil of magic and mystery, the alpine ridges protectively encircling such enchantment.
Waking up will be just as special. In the warmth of a cozy, comfortable home, there is no need to fear the cold outside. You can watch the sunrise from behind the windows, a thrilling spectacle that bids you to hit the slopes before anyone else, when the lifts are still idle and the ski slope is still pristine.
Blanketed in a silence granted only to you, you will feel an authentic connection with the mountain, becoming one with the environment that surrounds you.
Comfortable and cozy interiors
Upon entering the house, you will be greeted with the perfect balance of modern furnishings and natural design. Let your gaze relax amid the warm, bright hues of the natural fir wood covering the walls, which almost seems to invite you to touch it with your hands as if to establish a connection.
In the living area, the kitchen is practical and well-organized, with lacquered surfaces that give a sense of cleanliness, adjacent to the table for two: It's the perfect time to make a hot tea to sip while cuddling on the soft sofa bed, surrounded by bright windows from which to observe the slow rhythms of the valley, the gentle winter snowfall, or the long summer days.
Amenities
Both Barchi studios are equipped with a private bathroom, fitted with toilet, bidet, shower, and sink, a living area with a kitchenette, a dining table for two, and a double sofa bed.

For stays between 26/12/2023 and 07/01/2024, a minimum booking of four nights is required.

How to get there
In winter, it is advisable to leave your car in San Giuseppe and reach the apartment using the Pedrana – Barchi – Palù chairlift.
In San Giuseppe, you will find both free and paid parking options (€5 per day).
For this reason, we suggest doing your grocery shopping in the lower towns (Chiesa in Valmalenco and San Giuseppe) before reaching the apartments.
In summer: You can reach the apartment by car and park directly there (free parking).
Love and respect for nature
Out of respect for the land that hosts us, we have chosen to adopt sustainable practices to reduce our environmental impact. Much has been done to enhance the apartment’s energy efficiency, and there is still much to do. We are committed to making many improvements in this regard, such as replacing single-use bottles from the apartments (our next goal), and we ask you to do the same with simple daily gestures (like lowering the heating if you’re not home). Together, we can make stays increasingly sustainable.
