The Holiday Home in Barchi is designed like a cabin. Repurposing the old two-seater chairlift that connected San Giuseppe to Barchi, it now accommodates up to 14 people distributed across four apartments.
From the outside, you can appreciate the geometries of wood and natural stone that cover the building, in complete harmony with the landscape. The entire cabin has been insulated to ensure maximum comfort for guests, prevent energy loss, and thus show respect towards the beautiful environment in which it is immersed.
Upon entering, you will be welcomed by bright, airy spaces: The light fir walls invite you to touch them to feel the warm, soft texture of natural wood, while your gaze gets lost in the playful chromatic patterns of the knots, like a dance with a lively and reassuring rhythm. The wood of the paneling will also awaken your sense of smell with its delicate, almost imperceptible sweetness, promoting relaxation and rest.
The light furnishings, the delicacy of the lighting, and the elegance of the decor will make you feel perfectly at ease in a modern, well-kept, and comfortable environment.

Each apartment has its own unique features: from the lacquered surfaces of a practical modern kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals to the warm embrace of soft cushions and furniture upholstered in natural fibers like cotton, to the alluring call of a unique, picturesque panorama that you can admire from the window, lying comfortably on the chaise longue and sipping a hot drink while snow falls outside.

Family-Friendly Accommodation
Imagine a vacation where you don’t have to drive kilometers every morning and evening to reach the lifts—in fact, you don’t even have to queue, because the whole family is already at high altitude. Children step outside, trading slippers for ski boots without any extra hassle. If needed, the ski instructor can pick up his young pupils for lessons and bring them back home after.
The forest is nearby for a walk; building a snowman with parents comfortably supervising from the window is a luxury providing maximum freedom to design your days without fixed schedules, following your whims and rediscovering an authentic way to connect with nature.
Watching the snowcat at work in the evening is a novel experience that captivates children and adults alike.

Long walks will lead you to places where you can delight your palate and discover new refreshments, such as Fattoria Lenatti for cheese, Malenca fish farm where you can catch Valmalenco trout (a local delicacy), and Nonna Patrizia’s Shop with many other local products.

How to get
In winter it is advisable to leave your car in the town of San Giuseppe and reach the hut using the Pedrana – Barchi – Palù chair lift.
In San Giuseppe you will find both free and paid parking (€5 per day).
For this reason, we suggest doing your shopping at the food shops in the villages below (Chiesa in Valmalenco and San Giuseppe) before reaching the apartments.
In summer: you can reach the hut by car and park directly here (free parking).
Love and respect for nature
Respecting the land that welcomes us, we have chosen to adopt sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact. Much has been done to save energy in the cabin, there is much to do. We are still committed to improving many aspects, such as replacing single-dose bottles in apartments (this is our next goal) and we ask you to do the same with simple daily gestures (such as turning down the heating if you are not at home). Together we can make stays increasingly eco-sustainable.
